Behind the coffee guides.

Practical advice, clear sources, and room to adjust for your own brewer.

Bryce Choquer · Editor

Bryce Choquer is the credited editor of Hugo Coffee’s brewing and storage guides and the contact for questions about the business. These guides offer general coffee guidance; they do not claim professional barista, scientific or food-safety credentials.

How the guides are prepared

We use AI assistance in drafting and organizing content. Brewing calculations can help you choose a starting amount, but they are not claims of taste testing or laboratory testing. Adjust for your equipment and preferences. We link to sources where a recommendation relies on published guidance.

AI-generated grind illustrations are labelled on the grinding guide. They show relative textures, not measured samples or universal grinder settings. Other guide images are illustrative Hugo brand images, not proof that a recipe or result was tested.

Dates, product facts and corrections

Publication dates stay with the original guides. An updated date identifies a substantive revision, rather than a promise that advice has changed every week. Product availability, pricing and delivery terms should be checked on the relevant product and policy pages.
